Seven Sisters Waterfalls, Meghalaya

           



 
This is the Seven Sisters Waterfalls which is located in Cherrapunji (Meghalaya). It's original name is Nohsngithiang Falls. It has received the name 'Seven Sisters Falls' popularly because of it's seven different segments of waterfalls. It's one of the main tourist location in the state of Meghalaya. It's considered to be the fourth highest waterfall among entire India. It cascades down over Khasi Hills' limestone cliffs from a height of 1033 feet. The best time to visit this charming spot is the monsoon season between July and September.
